Telecommunicator of the Year Award Recipients  2007

OPCD Participates in 9-1-1 Goes to Baton Rouge
On May 22, 2007, the Orleans Parish Communication District along with other 9-1-1 Districts from throughout the State of Louisiana will converge on the State Capitol during this session of the Legislature. This event was created to improve legislators’ awareness of public safety issues that directly concern the funding and operations of 9-1-1. This event is sponsored by the Louisiana Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA).

Over 35 9-1-1 Directors, Coordinators, Board Members and Agency Personnel attended this State Legislative session:
